Abiseo locality Ameerega pepperi with vivid yellow, blue, and black. A striking display species for experienced keepers. These are medium-large frogs which like all Amereega do great in groups. Since they are bigger jumpy frogs they should be kept in larger tanks.

Ameerega pepperi can be sensitive to husbandry mistakes. We recommend prior dart frog experience before keeping this species. Breeding is considered difficult. These arent very readily available in the US hobby at the moment so responsible breeding efforts are important to keep these frogs available in the future.
